A Woman Liberated

I have been reading a lot of articles, blogs, and comments about John McCain’s choice for VP, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. And while I, like many Americans, know little about Governor Palin, one of the more laughable angles, to me, is the proposition that the choice of Governor Palin as a running mate is a bald attempt by McCain to “reach out” to women voters who were in Hillary Clinton’s camp.

An Aquarius Woman

Aquarius women are go-getters. They will constantly do some work. They hate to sit simply at any point of time. Even if there is no work, they will create some, so that they won’t be bored. They won’t do things like everyone does, they will create their own way of doing things. They will just see the world differently. They will question everything and want to find if there is any other way of doing it better. Sometimes they might end up having a great success in finding the other way of doing things, but sometimes when they screw up they may seem like an independent arrogant.

No Woman Scientist: True?

It all started when I had this browsing a while ago, then I read one article saying that women seem to have not contributed much in the field of science. The author said that it is dominated by men. It may be true that most of the famous scientists are men, but I think I cannot agree with the statement that “women made no much contribution in the field of science.” You know why? It is because there is Naturalist Joy Adamson in the first spot. She is the author of the best seller book “Born Free” which then converted into a movie of the same title. Everybody then loves Joy Adamson because of her love for Elsa (a lioness). She raised such a lion cub and magically turned it out to be a kind-hearted animal. The truth is that Joy Adamson is not like those typical scientists in science lab coats, she preferred to travel and focus more on her voyage.

Primordial Healer – Shaman Woman

The oldest healing tradition in the world is shamanism. It is primitive. It is primal. It is a powerful practice. Today it would also be classified by such names as “holistic healing”, or “integrative medicine”. My beloved calls it “Harmonic Infusion.” I have been led to call it “Primordial Healing.”

Some time ago, I read an article entitled, Birthing as a Shamanic Experience by Leslie McIntyre. In the article, it was stated that when a woman gives birth naturally, she is between two worlds: the world of life and the world of death. This, in and of itself, is a Shamanic experience. It led me to do more research into the world of the female shaman, the one who is a Primordial Healer.
